The Cambridge SoundWorks 735 Clock Radio Gets the Thumbs Down for AM Reception

My instincts told me the $180-299 SoundWorks 735 was, in spite of its high fidelity, a dud because there would be lousy AM reception. Well, here it is. CNET editor John P. Falcone writes: "AM reception was less impressive, and even after we experimented with a bunch of different placement spots for the included antenna, AM sound was nothing special."
