I've heard Leo Laporte on KFI 640 refer to the new Smartphone Android as a potential "iPhone Killer." But $580 seems like a lot for the privilege.

$580 bucks? The HTC droid is $99 bucks through Verizon. But of course, you got to sign the 2 year contract and all it's pricey stuff if you really want to optimize this unit.
