I'm a little confused -- what is the older version and what is the newer version?

Sorry, Doug, I don't have the model number. I saw it. It looks "skinny" with big white numerals. A simpler dial. My friend at Watch City said it's replacing the one pictured.

I really like the GW3000 with the color scheme shown in this photo. I'll have to go see the 4000 in a store to get a sense of its color scheme.
