| Manly Watch Sighting: Tissot PRS 200 with Sapphire Crystal »
I heard on the latest Autoblog podcast that the 2013 Toyota Avalon was designed with independent creativity from its designer, unprecedented at conservative Toyota. So I had to find pics of the new Avalon. One word, stunning.
I want one.

If you're used to a Maxima, you may find the Avalon floaty/Buick-like, IME, but I hope they have fixed that. It is quite fetching, with some of their new sport influence in the front and lots of Lexus 300 series in the side and back. I would move the Accord out of the garage for it, I think.

My Maxima is not the sport model so it's got some float. What's impressive about Toyota is their corporate people who ruin designs gave creative independence to the builders of the Avalon. Let's hope the improvement is more than just sheet metal.

Can the Avalon or any 2013 car for that matter be had with a front bench seat?
