It looks pretty interesting. However, at nearly $170 a pop, I would want to read some comprehensive reviews before pulling the trigger!

I was going to say "pish posh" but I noticed that the Frontier Silicon IR 2.2 Software looks pretty nifty:
http://www.frontier-silicon.com/products/software/briefs/IR2.2SW_PB.pdf
Its description includes:
* Internet Radio with over 13,000 stations and podcasts
* Music player for playback of USB or network-stored library of music files - supports MP3, AAC/AAC+, WMA (including DRM), RealAudio, FLAC, LPCM and WAV
* Metadata support to show artist, album, song title and duration of tracks played from a USB memory stick or Internet Radio.
* DAB and DAB+ digital radio with a wide choice of channels broadcast free-to-air
* Remote control app for iPhone/iPod touchLast.fm: personalised streaming music service
* FM with RDS (Radio Data System)iPod dock with iPod control/recharge and video output
* Aux in for external music sources such as MP3 players
Now that sounds pretty nifty to me. Of course, I'm not sure the Sangean will support all that (and of course, it certainly won't support DAB in the US version), but it sounds as if it could be rather full featured.
Pity that there is no AM (presumably because the controller generates too much interference.)
