Yes, that has a stylish retro look to it. And they included bass and treble controls too. This looks promising.

The three movable dial markers, visible in the zoomed J&R picture, are a neat idea too.

Universal Radio has it for $170 (shipping is $10):

OK, so I see a power selector, a mode selector, a frequency tuner, a volume, and what looks like two push-button controls. So how does one set the bass and treble, I wonder.
Also, I note the Sangean WR-12BT with bluetooth input(!!), which suggests to me that while it may have an analogue dial, it is actually a digital radio on the inside.

Doug T. - The two controls on the far right, next to the volume knob, are the bass and treble controls. This can be seen when the JR picture is zoomed in.

Anyone have any idea of this thing's dimensions? I've got a shelf in mind that would be a perfect place for it, if it fits.

This 2.1 layout is similar to the WR-5, which has excellent sound but terrible controls. It looks a little larger, but we'll have to wait and see what the specs are.

I found the dimensions and a picture of the back on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Sangean-America-WR-12-Cabinet-Receiver/dp/B008B3U5MQ
Item Height: 5 inches
Item Length: 8 inches
Item Weight: 9 pounds
Item Width: 11 inches
That's a little bigger than the WR-2 and WR but a lot heavier (if this is accurate). No speaker size is listed yet.
