Looking for Citizen Eco Drives to serve as a proxy for the great Breitling Super Avenger (I'm clearly delusional), I notice these $500 watches are cheap mineral crystal on Amazon but use the more highly prized sapphire on the international seller versions. Something to keep in mind.
That might be a typo. The ebay listing of the 5219 that I purchased claimed it is sapphire, but I'm pretty sure it isn't. No biggie to me, but sometimes listings are wrong.
It might also be that the Japanese import their "shwag" to us, sort of like the Irish sending us a lesser form of Guinness. Everyone (else) knows Americans are tacky and don't know quality.

Indeed some listings are wrong, which is why I frequently cross check and have found there are two versions of eco drive, mineral and sapphire.
