Calling a watch "XL" is a relative term. The Seiko SNDA59, with a 50mm case, is moderate compared to Invicta models, but in the Seiko world it is beastly. It plays a lot bigger on the wrist than the Seiko Velatura SNAA93 shown here and the Seiko Black Monster, also shown.
The bezel on the SNDA59 is buttery smooth and as I've said before this watch gives off a nice Rolex vibe, for far less cost.
Thanks for the pictures. Man, I want that SNDA59 now. Unfortunately at ~$450 it is disqualified from my Wishlist and is on the Dreamlist with the Orient Revolver, Festina F16602 and the Seiko Tuna as legit someday watches and not "pipedream" watches.
Here's a thought. If I buy only one moderate priced watch a month ($150-300), I might be able to warrant getting one or two of the Dreamlist watches a year. The SNDA59 and Orient Revolver would "only" put me back $1100 between the two of them, which is about the cost of the Tuna new, and about what I spend in two-three months.
Before seeing your pictures of this watch I didn't like it as much as your other Velatura, now I like it closer to the $1600 one.
