Thanks to your blog, I was able to pick this up for this great price. And it has already become one of my favorite radios. I've so far really tested it on FM, and it easily is one of my top performers both in terms of being able to pick up stations, and how clear it is on those stations.
As mentioned above the sound is wonderful. And there is that annoying volume drop while tuning, so as mentioned, DXing is not really going to work all that well on this radio.
But in terms of tuning a station and listening, this one is hard to beat. The controls are a bit unique for a radio, but they're still quit intuitive and easy to master. Love it.
