My Friend Has Stuck to His Anti-Facebook Oath

My friend wrote this about Facebook:

I swore an oath early on with a friend of mine that we'd both get one together, knowing we both hated the idea of it.  Every time I've had a moment of weakness and thought of starting one, the oath kept me, and he tells me the same thing.  

We're both very happy about it.  I've spent four decades cultivating a life of silence, mystery, and social obfuscation.  I don't need it all undone by Mark f***** Zuckerberg.
