Tecsun has just released a MW radio kit:
The housing is the duplicate of 2P3, a classic DIY radio housing designed for Chinese hobbists in 1960s.
The kit is sold for RMB100 (about USD15).

Yes, yes, yessssssssssssss!
I've been wanting to build another radio for a long time now as it's a hell of a lot of fun. Also it's easy to soup up such a thing with a better loopstick, and open air tuning cap, and a batter speaker if so inclined. Also you could use NTE/ECG 85s in place od Q1,2, and 3 for a bit more gain. This little thing could really sing with a little help.
I wouldn't mind scoring one to soup up, one to build as is and one or two more just for the parts. The parts alone are well worth the price.
Even if you just built it as is how cool would it be to have a pocket radio that you'd put together yourself?
