I greatly prefer the design of the hands and hour markers on the old Sumo over those on the anniversary edition. If I were buying one, and I already had an OSD, I'd definitely go with the blue one to provide more variety in the collection.

I love the blue and black Sumo originals. I may need to get one of each to complete my collection. Plus I think they'll become collector's items.

I used to have a black and blue Sumo. Great original design with a hacking and winding 6R15 movement. I'd prefer the blue a lot more than the black though. Bang for the buck. BTW, you have a striking resemblance with Will Sasso. ;)

Since Will Sasso is a comedian, I'll take that as a compliment. If the Sumo in blue were a dark blue, I'd get it but in some pics the blue looks too light. It all depends on the lighting.
