Twitchell’s “defense” of materialism is really no defense at all but rather a fatuous exposition that, straining the reader’s credulity, collapses under the weight of soggy thinking, egregious logical fallacies, and, amazingly, a series of asinine non sequiturs that force one to question if Twitchell is either being sincere or ironic.
