One. You need to eat every 3 or 4 hours.
Two. You need to know the difference between real food and fake food. Fake food is processed food like potato chips. Real food is from the Earth.
Three. You need to know the Super Foods: walnuts, almonds, blueberries, salmon, spinach, bok choi, dark leafy green, broccoli, yams or sweet potatoes, tofu, beans, etc.
Four. You must eat at least 2 cups of vegetables, such as spinach and broccoli, every day.
Five. You need one gram of protein for every 2 pounds of your body weight. Half your body weight.
Six. You should be able to cook and enjoy at least seven meals. The preparation shouldn’t be more than an hour, maybe a half hour.
Seven. You cannot ever eat food with hydrogenated oils. Also called trans fats.
Eight. You cannot ever eat food made with high-fructose corn syrup.
Nine. You can never get “punk fed” from a fast food restaurant or a chain. TGI Friday’s, Chili’s, Macaroni Grill, Applebees, IHOP, Olive Garden. They call this food “ding ding” food.
Ten. You need to shop local and fresh: Farmer’s Market. You then belong to a movement called Slow Food Movement.
Eleven. You need to eat brown food: rice, whole-wheat bread, pasta, eggs, brown sugar; no white forms of the aforementioned foods.
