According to the review posted on RadioIntel, a new radio, the Redsun RP2100, has come to town to beat the Eton/Grundig S350 as the King of Radios. Looking similar to the S350 and similarly priced, the Redsun, unlike the S350, boasts memory presets, digital tuning, and has a better speaker. Jay Allen's review says the AM performance is identical while the Redsun enjoys superior FM reception to both the S350 and the expensive Eton E5. To avoid overheating on the AC adapter, get a USA transformer 220 volt step up transformer. The safety-code-approved versions sold in the USA are about $20, twice the price of the Chinese-built ones for sale with the Redsun on Ebay, but avoid fire hazards and insure the longevity of your radio and spend the extra $10.
I may have to buy one of these Redsun radios and see for myself how good it is.
