The latest Sony offering, the SRF-M37W Walkman features a total of 20 presets--10 on FM, 5 on AM, 5 on TV, and 5 on Weather. It has a local/distant DX switch for better AM. It runs on a single AAA battery.
This radio brings high expectations since the C.Crane website claims this new Sony has the best AM for this type of pocket radio.
More CCrane lies! The best AM FM ultra-light radio is the Sony SRF-59 that sells for a mere $14.95 at most stores. Most of what you read on the CCrane website is pure Texas bullsh*t. The SRF-59runs for a 100 + hours on one AA battery.

I've used one for over 5 years to listen while I sleep. Before it, I used the analog version. It's a little gem.

It is better on AM than FM. Also, you can use other phones, the antenna action still works.

I wonder if the purchasers/owners of "TV audio" radios realize that in much of the U.S. after February, 2009 over-the-air TV signals will change to ATSC digital thereby rendering that TV band unlistenable with such analog radios. One could patch the RF signal from an ATSC-NTSC converter box ($40 rebate coupon available from Uncle Sam) into the radio if one figures out a way to get the RF into the radio with no external antenna input. Perhaps an F connector to alligator clip adapter attached to the headphone's cord should do the trick. Of course the "sound system" would not be very portable.
