A reader has made the following inquiry: Any recommendation for a similar antenna for FM? I heard TV antennas work well but I disconnected ours when we moved in... I'd love to improve the reception on our micro stereo system as I'm almost physically allergic to bad FM reception. Any suggestions out there? I find all external FM antennas, excluding the kinds you put on your rooftop, to be slightly effective but not worth the eyesore, so I'm afraid I can be of little help. My guess is he'll have to rig an antenna on his roof. Ed and Paul respectively have provided some suggestions: 1.Do you have Cable TV? It usually carries the FM band. Just feed it right into your rafio with an appropriate Radio Shack type adapter. For indoor use the FM Reflect antenna has received many good reviews: http://www.prairiepublic.org/programs/KFJM%20reception.jsp Amazon has it with free shipping too. It's made by Sangean. Another option is to walk in to your local Radio Shack and see what they have. Try them all, keep the one you like, return the other ones.
2.Many external FM antennas are available, if you can get it up in yout attic, or better, roof. See:

You should also try those powered indoor TV/HDTV antennas, aka "rabbit ears." Especially the powered type can work well with FM radios.
