Many mediocre clock radios, such as the Eton Soun 100, go for the same price (but to be true Sound 100 commonly goes on sale for $50-70 evidencing it's not selling briskly) as the $149 Aluratek Internet Clock Radio. As I post this, all 3 Amazon reviewers have given the Alvretek 5 stars for sound, performance, and ease of use.
If I get one, I'll probably use it in my office at work, which is where I really need it because of interference problems. The radio is small at 8 inches across and 5 inches in height.
The most appealing Internet radio, for me anyways, is the simple spare looking
Tivoli Networks. But its $600 price tag is a bit daunting, to say the least. Also it's hard to justify a radio that costs 400% more than the Aluratek. Does it deliver 400% better performance? I doubt it.
