I was interested in this radio until I saw that the FM band was 76-90 Mhz. That cuts out most of our FM band!
I wish it was set up like on my 1102, which is 76-108 Mhz. on FM.

Sometimes these radios have an internal switch that lets you set the FM to either the Japanese or US band of frequencies.

I've seen switches like that before, but it looks like there isn't one on the S5W. The analog tuning scale only goes up to 90.
Still... I wonder how this is as an AM performer.

People buy/use the S5 or S5W for its AM, which is absolutely fantastic. I have one.
