
Gary Small talked about his book iBrain today on Larry Mantle's Air Talk and said that pleasure chemicals make us addicted to eBay, e-mail and other forms of the Internet. His broader thesis, that the technology is changing our brain chemistry, resulting in addictions, ADD, and other disorders has been something I've speculated about for the last few years. Now there's scientific evidence.

Funny, I just read yesterday that internet usage helps aging brains stay healthier, and staves off dementia and Alzheimers. I'll look for the story.
