Tivoli Makes Amends for "Melted" Rubber PAL

Dan contacted Tivoli via email to let him know that his PAL "melted" and no amount of cleaning could rid the radio of its residue. To his surprise, Tivoli contacted him to tell him they will attach a return form so he can get the non-rubber version of the PAL. My guess is that they're stopping production of the rubber models, which Tivoli knows do indeed "melt."

I will contact Tivoli and tell them about my blue PAL, which as I posted earlier has suffered the same melted condition. I will report Tivoli's response, hopefully soon. 

I would be very happy with the silver one, a non-rubber model.

How does the Tivoli compare with the BA Solo?

The Solo is better, bigger sound, digital. But I like my Tivoli. It does drift a bit though. The Songbook doesn't drift but is not an apex performer either.
