I wonder how Panasonic would respond if the warranty card was sent in with an E-Bay receipt?
By the way, does anyone have tips on restringing a tuner on an old radio? It's a small Grundig portable. There are a few pullies and space to tie the string on the tuning knob. I took it apart to try to recalibrate it to go lower than 630 on AM and being a mechanical nitwit, I forgot how it was tied together. I might give it to one of my mechanically inclined friends or relatives with the promise of a nice radio if they can fix it! It's probably tedious, but less complicated than I'm making it.

Angelo, after ruining a couple radios with these fumbling fingers, my motto is "leave it to the pros"! i found out the hard way that seemingly easy tasks can turn into all afternoon cursing fits!
