NPR laid off and/or gave termination notices to 67 staff members last week. Corporate funding for NPR programs is down.
In addition, NPR cancelled several radio programs.

I heard they got rid of NPR show "Day to Day." Less content is not a good thing.

Thanks to your comment Paul I made the offer and got the 1060. The pic of the actual radio looks good and the Seller has a good rep, so I think I did good.
If it is as amazing as all the other early Panasonics, it was a good deal.
I'll post the results.
