I noticed that the Boston Acoustics Horizon Duo went up in price on Amazon in recent months. I got mine for a total of $115 several months ago and noticed it's hard to get under $140. But today Buy.Com is offering the Duo for $110 with free shipping. That's a great deal. The Twister Group is selling the Duo for $98 plus shipping costs, which I imagine will be $10 or so. Fad Fusion is selling the Duo for $99.99 plus shipping. I used to assume Amazon used the lowest price vendor, but I can't assume that any longer.

I second that. Great deal, but could also mean a newer model was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas this week.

Was there a Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas? Is there a blog that covers it?

I was hoping for some new grand radio. Oh well. Seems like most of the new radios are Internet versions for cars.

New Products announced at CES may take 6 months or more to make it to dealer's shelves.

A few months ago with the 30% cash back I could have got a Duo for about $75. But I had just spent about 500 on a couple of pairs of glasses. Bring back cash-back!
Unbelievably a black Eton sound-100 costs more ($125).

The Eton Sound 100 sounds one-tenth as good as the Duo. And the Duo is less expensive. Whoa.

Boston Acoustics will only honor warranties if the name of a dealer is on the dealer site.
