Kindle 2 Review Should be Coming Soon

My Kindle 2 arrived today. I'm going to learn its functions, digest its strengths and weakness, and try to get a holistic sense of the Kindle reading experience over the next few days.

The big question is will the Kindle 2 be to books what the iPod is to music. Maybe. But I heard today on KFI 640 that in California the unemployment rate is just over 10%. It seems like bad timing to launch a major gadget in this type of economic environment, but we shall see.

One thing I will say is how surprised I was at its tiny size and slenderness when I opened it from its box.
