Angelo has apprised us of one of the most appealing radios I've seen in a long while: a Telefunken Survival Radio. The price seems reasonable. If I wasn't on a vintage radio hiatus (too many in the house, wife doesn't like the clutter understandably, etc.,), I'd snatch this one.

Huesby: You'd need to boil that radio before handling it. I'm sure scientists can find germs from the early 80's still caked on. There might be something rare, like Legionaires disease.

but that wouldn't be a demotion...it's cool just if someone has come in from an exhausting journey and invites a friend to go to a walk and knows how many radios went along the cemetery road last month...and he replies,i only wish you and i had half as many.-
