The SR is all you'd always wanted in a radio..Excelent AM, excelent FM, excelent Sound, a Manly Radio... The only thing I don't like about this radio is its simple design, not many buttons, no level meter, no bandswitch but believe me it doesn't need anything else to perform super, besides it isn't too expensive at 78 Dls.

I missed that one but saw that is antenna was affixed to a screw top.
I may wait a year to get the GESRII as my house is going to sink with radios. I'll need to sell some.
