I'm on a vintage radio hiatus as my office is out of room. But over the next few years if I had to buy only two they'd be a mint GE SRII and a Sony Orbiter.

well i started with a high-dollar, last minute ebay nuclear bid on a grundig 800, bought a ccrane sw, got a restored halicrafters s-53a tube radio, found a hali cr-44 (that i gave away believe it or not), then i got T/O fever and got a tube trans-oceanic which i want to restore or get rid of, then i won that damn waterproof radio jeff said was to die for. the good thing about that radio is that fm goes all the way to 91, so you can always hear nancy pelosi radio (NPR). still want a transiter t/0, an eton e-1, a 750 (maybe) and now i must have an orbiter cause jeff wants one. jeff should help me pay my credit card bill too, i think :-)

KR: Stop making fun of NPR by calling it Nancy Pelosi Radio. Everyone knows NPR stands for National Partisan Radio.
As for radios---they are too numerous to summarize in detail. But recent transactions include selling a Panasonic RF1600 and Sony ICF5800 (hated to see them go). I picked up a Sony ICF-7600GR, an old EMUD shortwave tube radio and a Viscount multiband portable, among others. I'll be listing an old Grundig soon.

It's a tie for me between my Sony ICF-5900, 5500, and Telefunken Partner.

I should add here that Ed has a Sony TFM-8000 that was very impressive when I tested it. It grabbed stations with ease and had an assured speaker sound.
