Before anyone considers replacing caps and transistors and whatnot when an RF-2200 is acting flaky, clean all the switches - especially the band switches - pots etc. first.

My RF-2200 had extremely low volume on AM but ONLY when the SW bandswitch was set to SW1. (Go figure that one out on the schematic...) Putting the SW bandswitch on any other position from SW2 to SW6 cleared up the low volume problem when using the AM band. Getting in there with DeOxit cured the problem.
