Vintage boomboxes appear to be in demand. However, I'm not sure sellers are usually getting their asking price. Here is a "rare" JVC RC-555C. I recently bought a Panasonic that looks almost identical to this one for $30.

And yet the "sinverguenza ese" <- (you translate) is asking a 199 Dls with buy it for a 30 Dls tape recorder (when it was new !!!) now... :-(

Had one as a newlywed (yeah been married since '81). It was a sweet little boom box with a bonus - pretty decent SW reception. Used it till the cassette player wore out. Sure wouldn't pay more than $30 for it now - and isn't the shipping a bit high at $45?
