I have a more frugal approach for the guys who want something this large. Go to a thrift store and buy an old Westclox wind-up alarm clock from 1974. Go to Home Depot and buy an industrial sized strip of black rubber and some Velcro strips. Fashion a band around the clock and strap it to your wrist. Cost will be about $15.00 and it will capture the same look as these massive watches (that will soon be out of style---and viewed as "those oversized wristwatches from the early 21st Century"

It should be called the Rebozo. Its orange is the same color as clown hair, and I can see Bozo wearing one. I'll bet it even squirts water when that big button is pressed.

Omega signed Pierce Brosnan some years back to hawk their watches, to great effect.

What Rebosus needs is a celebrity spokesman with a low-key, quiet dignity, like Carrot Top.

How about Abe Vigoda?

Whatever...Rebosus style is one thing; you either like xl dials or not...But Rebosus quality is solid. The watch doesn't look or feel cheap on the wrist. I've owned mine for over a year; sterling service. The only caveat; being careful about not bangin' it in your enviornment. But, wearers of "big-facers" deal...
Can't buy a Rebosus on E-Bay either. A certain degree of exclusivity for the owner I guess.

I like XL dials. But people should have wrists that are at least 8 inches in circumference. I had a tiny student in my office who put on my 60mm Invicta and it looked horrible on him. He needs a 42 mm bezel face watch.

I have 6.5" wrists, so huge watches are out of the question for me. Even a Seiko Orange Monster looks too big on my wrist. 42mm or smaller looks good on me.

My current new watch is quite small. It is a 37mm Seiko S-Wave. It fits my wrist nicely, and its curved solid band is extremely comfortable. The dated, retro style is one of the things that attracted me to it, plus I got it NOS BNIB for $73.79 shipped from overstock.com. Here is a picture of it on my wrist:

On my small wrists, the watch doesn't look so small. I think it would look too small on someone with larger wrists.

My wrists are 9 inches so I'm better off with the 60mm bezels. Everyone should have a sense of proportion and get the watch for their wrist size. I suspect 90% of watch shoppers don't even think about it.

I don't like having 6.5" wrists. It limits my choices of watches. I have found that the design of the watch also accounts for part of the perceived size, meaning that if I am looking to get a watch that is 40mm to 45mm, I really had better check it on my arm. If the watch has a tall profile, like some automatic divers, it will look even more out of place on my arm.
