I had Google do some translating of Degen's web site, and here are the DE1125's sensitivity specs: Comparing these numbers to those of the Grundig G8 (3, 1 and 18 respectively), and it is like that this beautiful new radio is deaf, deaf, deaf. Too bad - it really is a great looking unit!Paul has apprised us of a new offering from Degen, the DE 1125 digital radio. Kevin has also done some research to let us see how this radio has been reviewed:
- FM sensitivity 5.0 uv
- AM sensitivity: 2.5 mv
- SW sensitivity: 50 uv

Sensitivity figures for what S/N ?
With what bandwidth ?
How measured when there's no antenna input ? (especially on MW/AM !)
Those figures are meaningless !

off topic but i bought an earth orbiter off flea-pay. looks like it's going back to the seller tomorrow, only plays on FM and is poor cosmetically. but the sound is good. basically, ebay is the original "cash-for-clunkers" scheme.

I've always been intrigued by the Oribiter. I've bought many vintages with crackly tuners, volume controls. Join the club.
