Yes, the Panasonic RF-1150 produces loud great sound. But I'm not sure I'd call it a "Ghetto Blaster." In any event, the seller also says this RF-1150 is in excellent condition. Current bid is $39.

I like this radio, I was just ready to bid, then I saw the shipping cost, $30.00 shipping? It will cost $10.00 max for shipping and insurance, I guess I will keep looking.

Checkout the bid history. Bang, bang, bang, bang, each bid seconds apart, and each bid is out bid by someone who really wants this radio. What is the fair value of this radio, and what are my chances of finding an RF 2200 at a good price?

I've got both radios, the RF-2200 and this one the RF-1150 and I can say that AM performance is the same for both but the RF-2200 is more sensitive on FM and SW despite the RF-1150 having a better and bigger sound.
Ah, and I pay 32 Dls for the RF-1150 in working condition.
About vintage radios I strongly reccomend to perform a full alignment of the radios, for instance my RF-1150 althougt it was a working model, It barely received LOCAL AM stations but after a fully alignment, it's now as good as the RF-2200 on AM. If you can find it for less than a 100 Dls do yourself a favor and BUY IT ! 9.5 out of 10
