The Sony SRF-T615 isn't cheap, but I did hear some good buzz about it a year ago. I haven't heard much about it since, but this is my fault since I don't check out ultra-light radio message boards.
Update:
Gary has provided us this excellent link, via DX.Ca, of ultra-light radio rankings.
I have old model SONY SFR-R800V.AM step 9 kHz. Still with 9 kHz step I can get many stations and some of them faraway. It is same sensitivity like my SRF-S84, S86 just digital and with memory.

I recently got a T615, and it is indeed an excellent little radio. How Sony got such a small receiver to be so sensitive is a marvel, and probably has something to do with the high cost. It's not terribly selective, but the nulling is great.
As for sources, the only direct route is through AudioCubes2 for $150 plus shipping, so probably $170 total. However, I got mine through a TaoBao agent (Obook), and it was only about $100 delivered. While some things on Taobao aren't worth the extra fees via using an agent, the T615 was definitely worth it!

I would add that, in answer to Jeff's provocative title question, the new Tecsun PL-310 is probably the best pocket radio around. However, you need a decent-sized pocket for the PL-310, while the T615 is so small it will slip into any ol' pocket ya got.
