
From England, a Sony ICF-12L. It's made in Malaysia, not Japan. Does that mean anything about quality? I ask this because I had a similar Sony radio, a 90s model from Malaysia, that was mediocre. This one is from the 70s so may be better.

This is actually from the mid-'80s (1986). Seems to be pretty much identical to the 1984 ICF-15:
