I wouldn't pay the full Buy Now price of $200 because of the scratchy volume control on this Sony Orbiter. But still a very appealing radio.
Too bad I can't drag the pics of this Sony ICF-320 because it is the cleanest I've ever seen. The seller is from Istanbul, Turkey, and the price is $600 plus $150 shipping. But look at those pics. Stunning. Now if only more of today's radios looked like this. Or even JUST ONE.
I bought a Sony Earth-Orbiter last month on a BIN for $79.95; other than some band sag (sort of sway-backed in the center), it seems to be a clean as the one in the photos. Excellent sensitivity and selectivity and a big, room-filling sound. A big, beefy, heavy, substantial radio that is nice to look at and fun to use. I prefer it over my Zenith Trans-Oceanic D7000Y which I will now probably end up selling.

This inspired me to take my Earth Orbiter 5090 out today. We had six inches of snow yesterday and I have a big driveway to shovel. I put the Earth Orbiter in my garage and played the FM oldies station as I went to work. Sound was loud---not the greatest quality though---a little muddy at louder volume. My Telefunken Camaro sounds like better hi-fi. Ditto for my GE Super Radio.
