Angelo

I've heard that the power button is a problem on the older Super Radios. Geez, I must have gotten lucky with my purchase. When I took the radio apart to resecure the frequency dial (glue was dry rotted), I bent the hell out of the power button stalk. When I reassembled the radio, it was all cockeyed and kept sticking. I took it apart again, unbent the stalk and put it back together (rough handling because I am not mechanically inclined). Anyway, it is now operating smoothly and perfectly, no issues at all.
