As reported on Luohuang's blog, the Anjan DTS-10 is real. As Luohuang writes:
I rcvd the set this morning and still on the testing run. So far so good for FM. From other radio forum in china, it looks Anjan has dispatched out few prototypes to the radio-lovers and dx-ingers in china end last year ~ early this year for comments, etc before they put the set on production lines. Apparently, Redsun RP2100 and Anjan DTS10 are similar except DTS10 which is with numeric keypad to input the frequencies directly and with more memomry storages, 1000. Accordingly to their introductions on the radio, they still use the ic(s) from Toshiba TA7358 and TA2057 for the radio receiving stage.???
Due to the enviorments, SW Dxing is totally impossible here b'coz of so much electric statics and other noises. FM Listings are my listening patterns. So this is not possible for me to fully rate these 2 radios. Happy Dx-ing.
Per the Google English translation of a few pages on the anjan.cn web site:
- dual conversion (assume shortwave for sure, and maybe MW)
- SSB (can't tell if sideband is selectable
- at least two bandwidths on AM, since there is a picture with "W", so there must be a narrow filter as well
- Limited testing for a few lucky radio buffs started in late December 2010
- claims of loud, strong bass
There is a floating pop-up type picture of the DTS-10 all over their home page, so the DTS-10 almost certainly is not vaporware.

I just found the above site showing the DTS-10 for sale, although it's not-unheard-of for sellers to offer sets before they have actual stock (and not indicate this is the case until after you order the radio!)...at such a low price, I expect performance to be similar to the DTS-09, which actually for me isn't a deal-breaker (I have a DTS-09 and like it). I'll wait though to see them on eBay.

Hi, i am the radio shop(http://www.takeradio.com) owner Ted, Actually I have just sold 3 of dts-10, and you think my price is low but i think it is suitable LOL...
And there is no english dts10 version, so please be circumspect. And I have just translated a chinese manual to english for one of my customer, and unexpectedly he said he can understand most of them, god bless my poor english XD

I just ordered an ANJAN DTS 10 from eBay. Not sure if it will be similar to my RP2100 in performance or not, but this ANJAN model definitely intrigues me. I'll update again when I get it and have had time to fiddle with it a bit.
