Continuing its Big Man on Campus theme, Invicta offers the Russian Diver Lefty 7271. Bezel is huge at 53mm. Amazon sells it for $178 with free shipping. eBay seller has it at same price. Big watches have come down in price and made even more popular by Food Network star Guy Fieri, they could be on their way to fashion obsolescence. Still, it's nice to have a few oversized Russian Divers around.

You've now convinced me that I need a huge watch, not that my Seiko diver was less than manly. But is it manly enough? I've pulled the trigger on a 50" bezel, but was looking for more traditional than the russian divers.
My first "good" watch was a Casio, one of their analog/digital divers and it lasted me for 10 years until I misplaced it. Since then I've moved upmarket and gotten a Seiko and a Citizen, but I fondly remember the good service of the Casio, and the snob appeal of the Seiko/Citizens has worn off, so in what may be the value purchase of my watch career, I just ordered a 50mm Casio Duro MDV-302D for 60$ delivered.
50mm of stainless steel 20bar manliness heading towards my wrist, I can't wait.

Tom, send me a jpg photo of your 50 mm Casio and your impressions and I'll post it.
