The National Geographic store has the same radio for $79.95 as well, but I am not sure what the shipping fee is.
Standard shipping at National Geographic is $13.95. Crutchfield has the better deal. Is this radio worth $90 dollars?? Opinions please...

Moogbass, I think it's worth 90 dollars. Great FM and speaker sound. AM isn't bad. Digital display and analog tuning. Easy to use. A bit cheap feel though.

I agree with Jeff 100%. Mine is the earlier model, the Tecsun BCL2000, basically the same except a little smaller. It's been my outdoor radio for several years now.
In fact I'm out here with the radio on the back patio right now enjoying a cold beer, and listening to the Mets/Yanks on a warm May evening. Sometimes life is very good indeed.

I'd rather listen to baseball on an S750 than a little portable, which renders voices akin to Daffy Duck. Indeed, the S750 has a nice speaker. Enjoy the game, Ken.

Frys.com and Frys stores have the 350DL for $79.

My take: it's a radio that tries to be all things to all people, but won't completely satisfy FM listeners (big sound for its size, but no boombox), AM DXers (not as sensitive as a GE Superadio or an old Zenith), or shortwave listeners (clumsy analog tuning), but a good general purpose radio for power outages, camping, etc.
Probably worth $50. or $60. if you can pick up a used or reconditioned one.
