Great. I couldn't tell from Amazon's pictures whether there was a wheel.

The bandscanning experience just doesn't feel right to me when I'm pushing buttons !

Gary

Some of the pictures here show the wheel:

I got mine a couple of months ago from US.I am in India. It was working nicely as it should. But of late I find that on moving tuning wheel, frequencies jump around up/down as they should not.Similarly volume wheel also misbehaves.I am in a fix ,is it due to high temperature of 40 degree centigrade plus?Any suggestions are welcome.

It has a thumbwheel which can be annoying but at least it won't fall off like the knob on my PL-310. I wish that it had a button to change tuning steps like my Grundig G6 has. BTW, I have had the same problem with the volume control that Vimal reported. It takes a fair amount of fiddling to get the volume up. It is a good radio but I take my PL-310 when traveling, as I am now, to save space and weight. I have a PL-380 as well but it doesn't sound good. I am going to sell it, used it three times and hated the way it sounds, nor did I find it as sensitive on SW as the 310 and 390.

I have the pl-390,505 & 606.The ETM on the 390 is much slower than the 505 & 606.Are all the 390's slower or is it just mine?.

Mac

Hi, if I am only interested in using FM, does it make sense to buy a DSP radio? Many thanks for your advice
