While walking the babies around the neighborhood this morning, I listened to Harry Shearer on his Le Show talk about how NPR was censoring his documentary about why New Orleans got flooded and he said "today might be my last show" for essentially biting the hand that feeds him and accusing NPR of being cowardly and hypocritical with their "guidelines," which compel them to not talk about Shearer's documentary. Guns are drawn.

I've been a fan of Harry Shearer for many years, he needs to update his resume today.
NPR has screwed over many reporters and staff over the years and has a very long record of fighting and losing law suits. Like any other organization, NPR is very political and has gone through some very significant management changes in the recent past. NPR is not the happy family they would have us all believe. Job stability for staff members is nil. Many of the folks profiled on their website are no longer with NPR or seldom heard on public radio.
