What a tempting tank of a radio, the Panasonic RF-880 Radar Matic. I'm resisting the urge to place a bid on this one.

Apart of many memories of space age and Vietnam Tet in Jan 1968 was the all American guys on WABC AM 770 NY playing fantastic solid gold from mid late 60’s. The National Panasonic RF 880/ 980 L model had it all in a time of escalated intense battle in Saigon. The RadarMatic was the first scanning to a station on a portable with incredible chrome and advanced looking heavy duty solid 18 transistor and 12 diode elite sharp radio. It’s a keeper worth more than ever new or NOS
