Two Subtle Versions of the Nixon 51-30 Series in Purple and Blue

I've been lucky in that the Nixon 51-30 series with steel bracelet comes in the mail with a perfect fit for my wrists. No links to remove. 

 

I purchased the blue metal bracelet version a couple of years ago and could not resist the purple version with the rubber strap. 

 

They're close in appearance and both offer subtle, less bling versions of the silver 51-30 models. 

 

The purple is even more subtle than the blue because it hardly contrasts with the black dial. Because both dials are black, the huge 51mm size is downplayed. 

 

The watches feel solid with good build quality, but they offer no lume. For that, you'll have to look to a Seiko or a Lum-Tec or some other diver watch. (For close-ups, click on the photos.)
