Speaking of delays, the CCRadio EP has now been pushed to at least late November. I'm still on the waiting list to get one. I just received the letter that there's been another unfortunate postponement. Oh well, it's not like I don't have other radios---rooms full of them.

This will sound like a conspiracy theory. But I have the feeling Grundig and CC Crane are both giving false release dates on purpose just to hype up their radios. Or at least giving dates they know they can't meet.
Sorry, don't blame the Chinese either, this is 100 percent the fault of Grundig and CC Crane.
And apparently it's working, because I haven't found a single person who said they were no longer buying these radios because of the delays.
More delays = more writings on blogs = more free advertising.

Shawn, count me as one. Granted, I only had a passing interest in the 450, it has faced. Now more interested in a 350dl when Rat Shack blows 'em out on clearance. Never was interested the CC EP, I've got an aligned and tweaked SRIII that'll beat it.

I always wait one year after a new radio comes out. Read the comments of new owners & wait for the manufacturer to fix any bugs before i make a purchase.

One should note that Eton has not officially announced the S450DLX - there is nothing about this radio on their web site.
However this type of "leaking" info and advertising before release has been done by Eton before, especially in the pages of Passport to Worldband Radio when it was being published ...

I think it looks cool, and I'm also interested in reading the reviews when it finally comes out to see how it compares to the RP2100. I just don't like the top strap.
