Ed apprised me of the EP radio audio review on C.Crane, a review, bear in mind, of a radio with no availability at this time.

Interesting - that voice/music knob is a bandwidth switch. It works on AM though he made no mention of whether or not it does anything on FM.

I like the fine-tuning feature for the AM ferrite antenna. It really made a big difference on that station he was listening to.

I have my order in. It's been delayed several times and I'm fully expecting that it will be delayed again. I have a feeling I'll be getting this radio in 2011.

Interesting. I wonder if this radio will cannibalize sales of the CCRadio 2 for people who only want an AM radio with more reach.
I also wonder what the quality of the sound is versus the SRIII, or even the CCRadio 2.

"Estimated delivery is December 19, 2010."
Seems to base on the receiver section of the Alinco DX-SR8 transceiver. http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/8897

With the cheaper price, the market will be larger. (Especially at Fry's)
