After 4 years, my wife Carrie's iMac broke down (bad hard-drive), so she went to the Apple store yesterday. While she waited to get the diagnosis for her computer, she found out the 5 steps to equalize the volume setting on iTunes so all your songs play at the same volume (a huge problem for me). Here are the steps:
One: Go to iTunes
Two: Click on Preferences
Three: Click on Playback
Four: Go to Sound Check
Five: Click the check box for "auto adjusts song playback volume to same level"
