I was considering a Grundig 450 but lost interest after the shameless postponements. I do not think I can go wrong with a Grundig 350dl for $60 so I am getting one at my local RadioShack today. Thanks for posting this sale. I kind of wanted a full size analog radio anyway. I still appreciate the good sound and tuning nuance of analog. The iTrip transmitter for my iPod works pretty good though I would prefer a Line-In like the 450 is suppose to have if it every comes out.

Blake:
The key difference -- the 350 is only a single-conversion radio. The 450 is supposed to be a double-conversion radio.

Appreciate your pointing that out Doug because that is an important distinction. I was aware of that however. And as expected my 350 does image strong shortwave stations about 930 Khz down. Sometimes the images are bringing the station in clearer than the actual frequency. I still really appreciate the 350 even with its images and quirks. For one thing once a SW station is tuned in is really sounds great. Much better than my YB400 with the 350's lower noise floor. However SW sensitivity is only average. AM & FM sensitivity seems above average. Great sounding on AM. I feel I can listen with little fatigue. The 350 is fun to use. The sound quality of this radio makes it all worth it to me. I think that the analog design of this radio is a key reason for its pleasant sound quality.

Same thing is happening with my Grundig S 350 with RF noise from TV and Computer 25 and 31 mtr bands dont get much signal inspite of bars showing full signal but images come in clear with no noise just a little weaker but its audible fair.
