Some of the best radio I've heard in a long time was KPCC's Larry Mantle discussing the expulsion of Irene Virbila, LA Times food critic, from Red Medicine. The restaurants managing partner even photographed the critic and put it all over the Internet. Callers either praised the Red Medicine for kicking out the grouch or condemned its churlish behavior. A very tasty scandal, which went viral, including postings on Gawker.
