Ante has apprised us of the European version of the Sangean Lunchbox. He writes: "Here is European version of Lunchbox Radio; the only difference is that this radio can actually can charge the batteries within the radio."
I use two: one in my work office and one in the kitchen where it witthstands punishment from my twin babies. Reception is good but you have to turn radio on its side to pinpoint some FM stations owing to nonmoving telescopic rubber antenna.
You probably mean the Sangean Lunchbox (Fatbox is a bit bigger). Next to the built-in battery charger it also has an aux-in socket for your MP3 player. The new deliveries have an improved antenna that can be directed around. You can see this new antenna on the top and bottom pictures of the productpage of the Toughbox at www.perfectpro.eu
Greetings from Europe

The LunchBox is one of my "go to" radios out of the dozens I own. Love the "full" sound. I get around the no aux-in short fall by using a FM transmitter (when playing mp3's).
There is a price to pay for playing it loudly outside using batteries - so plug her in!.
Great radio.

If the LunchBox had a longer ferrite bar to improve its marginal sensitivity on AM, and separate bass and treble controls, it would be a great garage radio.
